A Night at the Musicals

In the summer of 2013 PMOS presented a revue style concert featuring some of our favourite songs from musical theatre’s greatest shows.  This was the first large scale revue concert from PMOS since 1996, and a first performance for us in the newly refurbished Paisley Arts Centre.  The concert gave our members a chance to perform music from shows not usually available to perform as full scale productions (such as many of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals) and also some classics from Gilbert & Sullivan and Rodgers & Hammerstein.

Audiences were treated to a mixture of choral pieces, solo performances and rousing musical hits, which were greatly received.

Hopefully a first of many concerts in this style, this performance was a great chance to showcase the numerous talents of our members and tremendous sounds our club is capable of.
